This is the official website of Kanpur Zoological Park. Kanpur Zoo is a government organization and is controlled by the Forest Department, State Government of Uttar Pradesh.The Central zoo Authority of India, which is a statutory body under Central Government formulates various guiding principles and issues registration for the zoos.Kanpur Zoo is categorized as large Zoo and is accorded registration up to 30th June, 2012.
The website has been designed with a view to facilitate the visitors by providing necessary and required information regarding the brief history of the park, the situation, the timings of entry, the rates of admission, various public amenities that are available, and some of the important animals which can be seen here.
