UPPFMPAP at a Glance

The Uttar Pradesh Participatory Forest Management and Poverty Alleviation Project, funded by the Japan International Cooperation Agency, is under implementation in the 20 forest divisions of Uttar Pradesh.

CAMPA

Compensatory Afforestation Fund Management and Planning Authority is intended as an instrument to accelerate activities for preservation of natural forests, management of wildlife, infrastructure development in the sector and other allied works.

दुधवा राष्‍ट्रीय उद्यान

Located on the Indo-Nepal border in the district Lakhimpur-Kheri in Uttar Pradesh, Dudhwa National Park, together with Kishanpur and Katerniaghat Wildlife Sanctuaries, represent the best natural forests and grasslands left in the Terai region of Uttar Pradesh.

Lucknow Zoo

The Zoo is located in the heart of the capital city of Uttar Pradesh. It is being managed as a Trust, by the Zoo Advisory Committee with Forest Secretary to the Govt. of Uttar Pradesh as Chairman.

Kanpur Zoological Park situated on the fringes of industrial city of Kanpur. The park is spread in an area of 76.65 hectare. It opened for public on 4th February 1974.
